BOGO deals are not limited to multi-product bundles. You can use them with single products to boost average order value (AOV).

Creating BOGO Deals for Multiple Products

Basic Buy One, Get One Free

Use the Percentage discount type with these parameters:

  • Quantity: 2 items
  • Discount: 50% per item

Formula: (1 free item ÷ 2 total items) × 100% = 50%

Buy 2, Get 1 Free

  • Total quantity: 3 items
  • Free items: 1
  • Discount: 33.33% per item

Formula: (1 ÷ 3) × 100% = 33.33%

Buy 1, Get 2 Free

  • Total quantity: 3 items
  • Free items: 2
  • Discount: 66.67% per item

Formula: (2 ÷ 3) × 100% = 66.67%

Creating BOGO Deals for Single Products

For bundles with one product, use specific price instead of percentages.

Example: Product costs $50

Buy 1, Get 1 Free Setup

  • Total quantity: 2 items
  • Specific price: ($50 × 2) − $50 = $50

Buy 2, Get 1 Free Setup

  • Total quantity: 3 items
  • Specific price: ($50 × 3) − $50 = $100
